Crane Access
Often a mobile crane will need to be driven onto a site where it will set up for the purpose of unloading trucks delivering infrastructure and supplies to the site. The crane may need to drive across grass ovals, parklands, asphalt basketball courts, or artificial surfaces to get into position. Most of these surfaces are not designed to withstand such topical pressure and will need surface reinforcement to disperse the load of the Crane to prevent damage. Grass is more susceptible when its wet and asphalt when it is hot.
Our Heavy Duty Portable Roadways are the ideal solution for these applications by providing a protective load dispersing barrier between the vehicle and the underlying surface.
Installation and removal is quick and simple. There is no ground disturbance as we install the mats by operating on the mats we are installing, adding 1 mat at a time, minimising damage, maximising protection and when we remove, there is no mess behind.
